My work is a mix of photography and videography.
I'm a Yorkshire gal, based in the Midlands, working wherever!
I've worked on music videos, live music, documentary, studio shoots, in food, in sport, all over the place.
But a lot of what I do is about talking to people, asking questions, seeing them in their spaces, in their worlds.
Then comes all the moving parts. From the creative direction to producing, shooting and editing.
Building a picture with all its nuances and emotions.
From start to finish, photo or video, to me it's all about telling a story and capturing its essence.
It started with live music.
Being sat right in the middle of all these human moments made me want to document them.
The little gems of human interactions.
All honest, unposed, moving.
I just love ending up with images (moving and still) that are full to the brim with active gestures and glances, snapshots that feel living and breathing. Real.
Then comes piecing the puzzle together, the art of editing.
My favourite part. When the story takes shape, the feeling,
the emotion, all of it condensed into one place.
It never gets old.
